NEW XT Stair Edgings for Vinyl Flooring
Click on image to enlargeWe have added two new aluminium stair edgings to our popular XT range, specifically designed for vinyl flooring.
The rake-back; AKVXT1R – click here for details and the square edge; ASVXT1R – click here for details are ramped to prevent trips and feature a notched-back edge to overlay 2mm vinyl finishes commonly used in commercial environments, such as healthcare and education.
They also protect the edges of vinyl flooring from lifting and becoming worn or damaged, prolonging the life of the floorcovering.
The new profiles are the latest addition to our market-leading range of XT stair edgings. The profiles feature an extended slip-resistant insert around the leading edge of the step that reduces the risk of slips, trips and falls by maximising underfoot contact, in line with the latest legislation and guidelines including Approved Document M, BS8300:2009+A1:2010 and BRE recommendations.
The aluminium stair edgings are available with a choice of three insert options: Interior for use in dry conditions and Xtra-grip or Xtra-grip plus for environments where there is a risk of the stair edgings becoming wet. Xtra-grip Plus is also suitable for areas that require more frequent cleaning such as catering and food preparation environments.
Inserts are available in a choice of colours, including four new lighter options – Clay, Jade, Duckegg and Sky – that can achieve colour contrast with adjacent floorcoverings.
