Floor Illumination

Installed separately from the step system, the Gradus range of PVC-u and aluminium aisle & floor trims are designed to house the Gradus flexible LED floor loom to highlight walkways, aisles, entrances and exit routes.

A selection of profiles is also available with the Continuity and Interlok Advance LED lighting systems (see individual profiles for availability).

The flexible LED floor loom is available in Amber, Green, Red, Blue and White. It is extra low voltage at 12v, making it safe and easy to handle, and features LED modules at 300mm centres. Power consumption is 0.9 watts per metre and it is supplied in either 10m or 50m coils.

The floor loom can be housed in a choice of profiles that are suitable for use when different floorcoverings meet, such as carpet to carpet, carpet to wall and vinyl to carpet - click here for details. This helps to protect the edges of the floorcoverings and to provide a safe transition. In addition, the use of carpet to wall profiles help to prevent dirt and debris from collecting around the edges of the auditoria.

The PVC-u trims are supplied in Black with a co-extruded translucent window in either clear or smoked PVC-u, to allow light to shine through. The design provides additional slip-resistance, and a range of different heights is available to suit different floorcoverings. 

The DLA45 aluminium profile is designed to house the LR1238 clear PVC-u tube that in turn houses the Continuity or Interlok Advance LED lighting systems. DLA45 is supplied in mill finish aluminium or can be Black anodised on request.
