AKXT50A stair edging (nosing) comprises an aluminium channel with a choice of insert material that extends around the leading edge of the profile to ensure that foot contact is always made with the slip-resistant element of the stair edging, and is 65mm on the tread and 40mm on the riser to meet the guidance in BS8300:2009+A1:2010.

It is a rake back, single channel, ramp back profile and is ideal for use where no surface floorcoverings are used, or a resilient floorcovering.

When used with resilient flooring AKXT50A should be installed on top of the flooring. Supplied in mill finish aluminium. Can also be supplied anodised.
