450 Timber Handrail

Gradus 450 timber handrail meets the guidelines in BS8300:2009+A1:2010 and Approved Document M (2004) of The Building Regulations 2000, with a circular grip diameter of 45mm, bracket clearance of 50mm and a distance from the wall of 60mm.

450 timber handrail is designed to offer pedestrian guidance and support whilst providing a comfortable, safe grip that is not cold to the touch.

Four wood options are available – Oak, Ash, Maple and Utile with stainless steel or matching timber accessories. Gradus guarantees that the timber used to make the handrail is from verified, legal and sustainable sources. The timber is supplied pre-lacquered to remove the requirement for on-site finishing. All wood finishes are measured for Light Reflectance Values (LRVs), however, as wood is a natural product, variations in colour and pattern will occur, therefore the LRVs are for guidance only.
